Brazil – The pioneer country in creation and usage of the Coca-Cola’s eco-friendly PET bottle, the PlantBottle, will also be the one to host the largest factory of these products in the world. Recently, the Brazilian subsidiary announced to the local press that will be expanding the plastic from sugarcane polymers to all of the PET bottles sold within the country – and for that, will support the construction of a factory specialized in the bioMEG resin, main component of the bottle.
